About Me
I love working with people to make their dreams come true. Growing up in Southern California, my dream was to live in a beautiful wooded area, like the mountains near Lake Arrowhead where I vacationed with my family. I fulfilled this dream when I moved to Nevada County in 1983. Over the past 24 years of living here, I've developed a wealth of experience working with people in Nevada County that I bring to my real estate career. I worked as a registered nurse for 23 years, bringing my knowledge and caring to people in their homes in the area as a home care nurse. I also worked in business as the CEO of the civil engineering firm, Robert Young and Associates, Inc., playing a key role in the sale of this business to Holdrege and Kull, a Nevada City civil engineering firm. My passion for real estate began in my 20’s when I purchased my first home. In the years since I have bought and sold many properties, done extensive remodeling, and recently built a new home and a spec home. People say I have an eye for developing and remodeling property that utilizes all aspects of the property and building to its greatest expression.
